I’ve recently fallen in love with Indian cuisine and have been learning how to make a large variety of different dishes. This chutney is great to add to plain rice, to have it with naan, or to make the marinade for Hariyali Tikka. Should I add that it takes 10 minutes to make it and no cooking is required? All you really need is a food processor or a blender.
(for about 450g of chutney)
A handful of coriander (100g)
A handful of mint (100g)
2 garlic cloves
1 tbsp green chilli sauce
2 tbsp cold water
This chutney is very easy to make. Just add all the ingredients to a food processor and blend until it becomes like a paste. You can add extra water and chillies, depending on your preference.
You can store it in the fridge and should use it within the first 3 days.
Tip 1: If you can’t find the green chilli sauce, you can replace it with a green chilli and an extra tablespoon of yoghurt.
Tip 2: For the Hariyali Tikka, cut the chicken in cubes, coat it with the chutney and let it marinate for a couple of hours. Put the chicken on skewers and grill it. It’s that simple!
That’s it! Enjoy!
