This is hummus based chilli sauce is a very easy and super quick sauce, perfect for shawarma and a great dipping sauce for fresh veggies, nachos or chips.
- 1 can of chickpeas
- 1 tbsp chickpeas brine
- 2 tbsp tahini
- 250ml greek yogurt
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- juice from 1 lemon
- 4 garlic cloves, toasted in their skin and then peeled
- 1 tbsp sweet paprika
- 1 tbsp harissa sauce
- As you can imagine, this recipe couldn’t be simpler. Just add all the ingredients to a food processor and process until you obtain a smooth paste.
- Use this as a shawarma sauce or as a dip for fresh vegetables, nachos or chips. It’s soooo good!
